The newly established Esher Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking a new BID manager to launch and lead this exciting new initiative. Backed by local businesses and set to deliver over £700,000 of investment into Esher over the next five years, the BID will play a pivotal role in shaping the town’s future — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to make a real impact.

Why Esher?
Esher town centre provides a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants. You can take in a movie, visit the theatre, meet friends at the pub or enjoy a day’s racing at Sandown Park. The town has good mix of community and opportunity but businesses have consistently said we need to do more to make the most of the towns assets to ensure Esher is great place for businesses to invest in and thrive.
Looking Ahead...
The initial BID Task Group will work with the Esher Chamber to bring together a collection of local, professional, business people who are working together to look at improvements that can be made to Esher and how they would be delivered. The group would operate independently of any council or organisation, but in collaboration with everyone who cares about the wellbeing and future prosperity of our town.As part of this they looking at the introduction of a Business Improvement District (BID), a popular concept aimed at professionally managing a place with sufficient resources and organisation. We will soon be starting the work on engaging with the wider business community to see whether a BID would be right.
